Professor Jayashankar died

  Telangana movement leader and Professor Jayashankar died at his home in Warangal City. He has been suffering from Lung cancer. Jayashankar played active role in 1952, 1969 and current Telangana movements. This Economics professor inspired thousands of students and people through his lessons and speeches.    Last rites will be held tomorrow in Hanamkonda. Whether you support Telangana cause or not, no one can question the integrity and sincerity of this 76-year old unmarried Professor from Hanamkonda. He donated his 4-acre land to local school.    Birth date: August 6, 1934 in Akkampet, Atmakur (Mandal), Warangal distirct.  Education: M.A. (Economics) & Ph.D. in Economics     Jayashankar is the ideologue of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). Jayashankar, former Vice-Chancellore of Kakatiya University, is known for his extra-ordinary knowledge on Telangana problems and irrigation issues. Unlike TRS leaders, he is famous for expressing his views in a concrete manner. Telangana movement needs more leaders like him.   Jayashankar played crucial role in the formation of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). Telangana movement lost another good leader after demise of Vanam Jhansi (BJP leader from Mahabubnagar district). Andhra Pradesh lost a great huamn being.  He sacrificed marriage for Telangana movement. He passed away without seeing his lifelong dream fulfilled.  Address: K.   Satya Sai Trust and Government miserably failed in revealing the health status of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Lack of transparency and confusion created tense atmosphere among the followers of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. As a Doctor, these are my observations after studying the medical bulletins & TV news. But, We can get more idea on Sai Baba's health status if Doctors reveal other reports like Blood pressure etc.  Satya Sai Baba Health status for laymen:   He is on CRRT. Doctors may have chosen it due to Acute Renal Failure with Cardio Vascular Instability.  1. He is on Ventilator - It means artificial lung  2. He is on CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) - It means he is on artificial Kidney  3. He is on Pacemaker - heart rhythms are not stable.  So, three major vital organs are not functioning normally. Medically, Satya Sai Baba is a critically ill patient.    I shared my observations to help Satya Sai devotees in understanding the current status of His health. United Andhra Pradesh: Maintain status quo. This is first option in Sri Krishna committee report. Least preferred option.    2. Bifurcation of the State into Seemandhra and Telangana; with Hyderabad as a Union Territory and the two states developing their own capitals in due course: Not a practical idea as per committee.   3. Bifurcation of State into Rayala-Telangana and coastal Andhra regions with Hyderabad being an integral part of Rayala-Telangana.    4. Bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh into Seemandhra and Telangana with enlarged Hyderabad Metropolis as a separate Union Territory. Manda Krishna Madiga arrested

  Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) leader Manda Krishna Madiga was arrested by Hyderabad police at Nizam college grounds in Hyderabad. MRPS conducted "Yuddhabheri" meeting on Saturday which was attended by lakhs of MRPS activists.  Krishna Madiga demanded a positive statement (taking all-party leader delegation to Delhi) on SC classification from CM Kiran Kumar Reddy by 1 AM. He also declared that we will attack CM' house if there is no positive response from government.  But, CM has not made any statement by 1 AM. Then, Krishna Madiga decided to attack CM's house along with MRPS activists but Police arrested Krishna Madiga and controlled the situation.  MRPS has been fighting for categorization of Scheduled Castes since 1994.  … [Read more...]
