Professor Jayashankar died

  Telangana movement leader and Professor Jayashankar died at his home in Warangal City. He has been suffering from Lung cancer. Jayashankar played active role in 1952, 1969 and current Telangana movements. This Economics professor inspired thousands of students and people through his lessons and speeches.    Last rites will be held tomorrow in Hanamkonda. Whether you support Telangana cause or not, no one can question the integrity and sincerity of this 76-year old unmarried Professor from Hanamkonda. He donated his 4-acre land to local school.    Birth date: August 6, 1934 in Akkampet, Atmakur (Mandal), Warangal distirct.  Education: M.A. (Economics) & Ph.D. in Economics     Jayashankar is the ideologue of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). Jayashankar, former Vice-Chancellore of Kakatiya University, is known for his extra-ordinary knowledge on Telangana problems and irrigation issues. Unlike TRS leaders, he is famous for expressing his views in a concrete manner. Telangana movement needs more leaders like him.   Jayashankar played crucial role in the formation of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). Telangana movement lost another good leader after demise of Vanam Jhansi (BJP leader from Mahabubnagar district). Satya Sai Baba wealth in Yajurmandir

  Satya Sai Baba Central trust members indentified 11.56 crore cash, 98 kg gold and 307 kg silver in Yajurmandir (Satya Sai Baba mandir) in Puttaparthy. According to Ratnakar, trust member, most of the silver and gold is in the form of statues of Gods and goddesses. 20 members took 36 hours to count the cash in the mandir.  Trust members decided to deposit the cash in the SBI account of the Satya Sai Baba Central Trust. But, they failed to find any Will written by Satya Sai Baba.    Trust members have not allowed media into the Yajurmandir but they did the whole process in the presence of IT officers.  Government failed to play proper role in the whole process.   … [Read more...]

No Telangana in near term: Ghulam Nabi Azad

  Andhra Pradesh AICC in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad exposed the lies of AP political leaders. He categorically stated that there will be no separate Telangana state in near term. According to Azad, Telangana is a camplicate issue and needs cooperation from local poitical leaders.  Azad also stated that we are constantly educating Telangan congress leaders on the issue and the problems. So, Telangana Congress leaders like Keshava Rao and Madhu Yashki are saying exactly opposite to this and they are misleading Telangana people so far.    Why Telangana Congress leaders have not told about these education classes by high-command? Kadapa, Pulivendula by-election results today

  Kadapa and Pulivendula by-election counting has started at JMJ Girls Junior College in Kadapa. Counting trends will be available by 8:45 AM and results will be known by 11:30 AM. YSR Congress, TDP and Congress fought hard but YSR Congress candidates have clear edge according to exit polls. 10,29,423 voters casted votes in Kadapa Lok Sabha while 1,56,276 people voted in Pulivendula Assembly constituency.  Kadapa Lok Sabha: YS Jagan Mohan Reddy defeated D.L. Ravindra Reddy by 5,21,613 votes.  Pulivendula Assembly: Y.S. Vijayamma defeated Vivekananda Reddy by 85,191 votes. Murder attack on Akbaruddin Owaisi

  MIM floor leader and Chandrayanagutta MLA Akbaruddin Owai was attacked by Mohammed Pahilwan followers near Barkas MIM office in Hyderabad old city. Akbaruddin Owaisi was admitted to Owaisi hospital in Santoshnagar with gun shot injuries. According to reliable sources, doctors removed 4 bullets from his body and is safe. Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Bilala & one Corporator also injured in the incident. Mohammed Pahilwan's relative Ibrahim and another follower died in the incident. According to Hyderabad CP A.K. Khan, 11 people participated in the attack on Akbaruddin Owaisi.       Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin was shot at while conducting Padayatra in Chandrayanagutta at 11:00 AM. In a carefully planned attack, Pahilwan followers used guns and knives to kill Akbaruddin. But, Malakpet MLA gunman opened fire immediately and saved Akbaruddin. Situation in Hyderabad old city is tense but under control. Satya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi passes away

  Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba of Puttaparthy passes away at SIMS in Puttaparthy. He died of multi-organ failure at 7:40 AM. He was admitted to hospital with Pneumonia on March 28, 2011. Then irregular heart beat, acute renal failure and jaundice further complicated his health condition. He passed away at Satya Sai Institute of Medical Sciences which he built in 1991. Today is also the birthday of his devotee Sachin Tendulkar.    Last rites of Satya Sai Baba will he held on Wednesday morning at Sai Kulwant Hall in Prashant Nilayam. Satya Sai Charitable Trust is conducting service programmes in 166 countries. Satya Sai Trust mainly concentrates on basic services like education, health, drinking water & spiritual programmes. Few Indians have shown this kind of impact on lakhs of people like Satya Sai Baba did. End of an era.    Satya Sai Baba profile:  1. Birthdate: November 23, 1926  2. Birth place: Puttaparthi.   Satya Sai Trust and Government miserably failed in revealing the health status of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Lack of transparency and confusion created tense atmosphere among the followers of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. As a Doctor, these are my observations after studying the medical bulletins & TV news. But, We can get more idea on Sai Baba's health status if Doctors reveal other reports like Blood pressure etc.  Satya Sai Baba Health status for laymen:   He is on CRRT. Doctors may have chosen it due to Acute Renal Failure with Cardio Vascular Instability.  1. He is on Ventilator - It means artificial lung  2. He is on CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) - It means he is on artificial Kidney  3. He is on Pacemaker - heart rhythms are not stable.  So, three major vital organs are not functioning normally. Medically, Satya Sai Baba is a critically ill patient.    I shared my observations to help Satya Sai devotees in understanding the current status of His health. Kadapa, Pulivendla by-election schedule

  Election commission announced schedule for by-elections in Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula assembly. By-election is due to resignation of Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijayamma on November 29. Election commission will release notification on April 11.
