No Telangana in near term: Ghulam Nabi Azad

  Andhra Pradesh AICC in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad exposed the lies of AP political leaders. He categorically stated that there will be no separate Telangana state in near term. According to Azad, Telangana is a camplicate issue and needs cooperation from local poitical leaders.  Azad also stated that we are constantly educating Telangan congress leaders on the issue and the problems. So, Telangana Congress leaders like Keshava Rao and Madhu Yashki are saying exactly opposite to this and they are misleading Telangana people so far.    Why Telangana Congress leaders have not told about these education classes by high-command?   Tenali MLA Nadendla Manohar is elected as new Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly. Pro-tem Speaker J.C. Diwakar Reddy conducted Speaker election in an open ballot. Civil Supplies Minister Sridhar Babu proposed Nadendla Manohar name for Speaker post. Madhira MLA Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka elected as Deputy Speaker of AP Assembly.  AP Assembly Speaker election result:  Total MLAs: 293  Congress Party Speaker candidate Nadendla Manohar got: 158  Telugu Desam Party candidate: K.E. Prabhakar got: 90   MLAs not voted/attended: 45.    Jagan group MLAs voted for Congress Party candidate Nadendla Manohar. CPI, BJP and Lok Satta MLAs have not voted for any candidate. Nagarkurnool MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy voted for TDP candidate. Kadapa, Pulivendula by-election results today

  Kadapa and Pulivendula by-election counting has started at JMJ Girls Junior College in Kadapa. Counting trends will be available by 8:45 AM and results will be known by 11:30 AM. YSR Congress, TDP and Congress fought hard but YSR Congress candidates have clear edge according to exit polls. 10,29,423 voters casted votes in Kadapa Lok Sabha while 1,56,276 people voted in Pulivendula Assembly constituency.  Kadapa Lok Sabha: YS Jagan Mohan Reddy defeated D.L. Ravindra Reddy by 5,21,613 votes.  Pulivendula Assembly: Y.S. Vijayamma defeated Vivekananda Reddy by 85,191 votes. Murder attack on Akbaruddin Owaisi

  MIM floor leader and Chandrayanagutta MLA Akbaruddin Owai was attacked by Mohammed Pahilwan followers near Barkas MIM office in Hyderabad old city. Akbaruddin Owaisi was admitted to Owaisi hospital in Santoshnagar with gun shot injuries. According to reliable sources, doctors removed 4 bullets from his body and is safe. Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Bilala & one Corporator also injured in the incident. Mohammed Pahilwan's relative Ibrahim and another follower died in the incident. According to Hyderabad CP A.K. Khan, 11 people participated in the attack on Akbaruddin Owaisi.       Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin was shot at while conducting Padayatra in Chandrayanagutta at 11:00 AM. In a carefully planned attack, Pahilwan followers used guns and knives to kill Akbaruddin. But, Malakpet MLA gunman opened fire immediately and saved Akbaruddin. Situation in Hyderabad old city is tense but under control.   Agriculture Minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy resigned. His MLC post duration was ended yesterday but failed to get re-nomination in any quota. He is the only minister in the current cabinet who is not a member in either Assembly or council. He is also acting as party leader in Legislative Council.    He faced severe criticism from all corners of the society for his alleged behaviour in Assembly on March 28. He attacked TDP MLAs Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu and Chinthamaneni Prabhakar.  He may contest from Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency on Congress party ticket.   India Today group publication, "Mail Today" published a sensational story about Hawala broker Hasan Ali's links with Andhra politicians. According to the story, Hasan Ali revealed details about 38,000 crore black money transactions during interrogation. Top Andhra politicians including ministers and film producers & actors used Hasan Ali in moving their black money out of country. He also helped them in bringing back that hawala money whenever they asked.  Former Andhra Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu demanded the agencies to reveal the names of politicians and ministers whom Hasan Ali helped in their black money transactions.    Highlights of the Mail Today story:  1. Hasan Ali provided black money to two Andhra based regional parties in the last 10 years during election campaigning. He played crucial role in 2004 and 2009 elections by bringing back hawala money. TDP, TRS and PRP are the only prominent regional parties in Andhra Pradesh. YSR Congress was not contested in 2009 eelctions.  2. Hasan Ali helped a Top Andhra politician (who was a top film star) in his black money and hawala transactions.  3. Hasan Ali helped an Andhra ex-Chief Minister to park his black money in tax heavens.  4. He also helped the rival of this Andhra ex-chief minister.  5. One Andhra political party brought back 200 crore rupees of black money to use in 2009 elections.  6.
