PRP merged in Congress

Prajarajyam Party (PRP) is merged with Congress Party. According to AP Congress party in-charge, Veerappa Moily, Chiranjeevi is now a member of Congress party. What a fall!!! Chiranjeevi also confirmed merger news at a press-meet in New Delhi after meeting Congress party president Sonia Gandhi. Chiru and Sonia discussed about merger for 2 hours. Implications of Congress-PRP alliance: In 2009 elections, Congress got 37% votes while PRP got 18% votes. NTV survey after 4-5 months: Congress got 35% votes while PRP got just 12% votes. Jagan may split 10-12% of Congress votes. Can PRP compensate this loss? In politics, 2+2 can become 0 or 10. We have to closely monitor the political moves of PRP cadre. Our view: Congress party now has 26-28% vote bank in Andhra while PRP may have around 5-6% vote bank. Is it enough? … [Read more...]
Maddelachervu Suri murdered in Hyderabad
Update: Faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri alias Gangula Suryanarayan Reddy died in Apollo Hospitals at 7:55 PM. He was admitted to hospital in severe coma. Suri was fired at point blank range in the head and chest. His close follower Bhanu Kiran is the main suspect. Suri murder is a case of another murder by a close follower after Pandu murder by a close follower. Both murders occured in Yusufguda area in Hyderabad. Huge appreciation in the value of those Binami properties may be propelling these followers to murder their leaders. After Suri and Pandu murders, no leader may trust anyone however close he may be. Hard lesson for all leaders. Medical report by Apollo doctors: Only 2 gun shot wounds that too in the head region. He was admitted to emergency care in an unconscious state (BP not recordable) at 5:45 PM and expired at 7:55 PM. He died of Cardiac failure.
