TRS suspended 3 MLAs

  Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) suspended 3 MLAs from party on the allegations of cross-voting during MLC elections. TRS politbureau discussed this "cross-voting" issue for 5 hours at KCR home. According to unverified rumours, 3 TRS MLAs voted for Congress MLC candidate Rangareddy. Suspended MLAs already submitted their resignation letters to the TRS President K. Chandrasekhar Rao.   Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MLAs attacked Lok Satta leader Jayaprakash Narayan near media point at Assembly. Huzurabad TRS MLA Etela Rajender's car driver (???) even beat JP on the head. Yellareddy MLA Enugu Ravinder Reddy watched the ugly incident standing behind the driver. Congress MLC Paladugu venkatrao tried to protect JP but his efforts went in vain and he too faced the wrath of these ..... MLAs.     TV9 footage: Minutes before the incident, Sircilla MLA KTR asked fellow MLAs to beat Jayaprakash Narayan (Kottandra Vanni).  ABN Channel footage: Huzurabad MLA Etela Rajender also tried to beat but narrowly missed as JP was taken away by security men.     Jayaprakash Narayan wept after the incident. Telugu Desam and Congress party leaders criticised the incident but TRS leaders criticised JP even after the incident and justified their "rowdy" act. TRS activists attacked Medak district Lok Satta president Srinivas in Siddipet.  Jayaprakash Narayan decided not to complain against MLAs & rowdies. He described the incident as an "attack on democracy."   Jayaprakash Narayan elected to Andhra Assembly from Kukatpally constituency in Rangareddy district. He is one of the rare leaders in AP who took on TRS.   Black day in the history of Andhra Pradesh.   Jayaprakash Narayan is a retired IAS officer from Krishna district. He worked as a collector in Prakasam and East Godavari districts. He is the founder of Lok Satta movement and party. AP Government dropped cases against students

  Andhra Pradesh Government decided to withdraw all the cases filed against students. 1,677 police cases were registered till September, 2010 during Telangana/United Andhra agitations. Osmania JAC demanded state Government to drop all cases in one go but United Andhra JAC stated that their students don't care about JAC. Home Minister Sabitha Indrareddy announced this decision just a while back.  11 Congress party MPs from Telangana region are on indefinite hunger strike from Monday afternoon. They succeeded in creating pressure on Telangana ministers but it is looking like a "political drama" for neutral analysts.  Total number of cases: 1,667 cases involving 8,045 students  Cases dropped in first stage: 565   Cases dropped on Monday: 135   Congress Party succeeded in not giving credit for rollback to TRS. TRS MLAs stalled Assembly for 3-4 days on this issue but Congress Government had not yielded to their pressure. Now, Congress MPs staged "hunger strike"??? for roll back.   Andhra Pradesh DGP Aravinda Rao warned anti-social elements who are creating problems in the state in the disguise of Telangana/United Andhra. He requested Andhra people to maintain peace and hormony irrespective of message in Sri krishna commission. In 2010, anti-social elements created unpeaceful atmosphere and caused lot of damage to the Government and private property during Telangana and United Andhra movements.  According to DGP, Police department is preparing to take action against people who are creating tense atmosphere in the state through their speeches or actions. AP Government already requested central Government to send para-military troops to control the situation in the state.  DGP came to Ongole in the morning by Simhapuri express and reviewed the law and order situation in Prakasam district. DGP inaugurated two "Special Weapon Action Teams" in Ongole - first time in AP. He unveiled the statue of Wesley who died along with former Chief Minister YSR in the helicopter crash.  TRS President K. TRS leads in AP by-elections 2010

  TRS wins in 6 assembly segments and is leading in another 5 segments while BJP wins in Nizamabad Urban segment. Congress and TDP lost deposits in many Assembly constituencies.  PCC president D. Srinivas lost in Nizamabad Urban.
